SFMOMA Open Space, Collection Rotation

I am the March contributor for the Collection Rotation feature of SFMOMA’s Open Space! Each month Suzanne Stein at SFMOMA asks someone to organize a “mini-exhibition” from the museum’s collection. My contribution marks the beginning of an exploration into the role of art as a witness to death and mourning and was partly inspired by my father’s new job at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapel. I am also so happy to have collaborated with the one-and-only Bay Area musician and composer, Eric Kuhn, for the audio portion of this piece. Please check it out here.
